To ensure uninterrupted drinking water supply to about 10,000 households, a Rs 9 crore project of Jal Nigam has been approved in-principle to connect the households to the main water supply pipeline.Ī new project of ₹ 92 lakh for Facade Lighting in Lal Tamarind was also approved in-principle subject to necessary NOCs and permissions. Working towards energy conservation, roof top solar systems will be installed at Palika Stadium, New Convention Centre, Nana Rao Park etc. The proposal will include works like Traffic Enforcement Center (TEC), IT powered equipment, traffic signals and signage related works and street marking etc.

In order to ensure smooth movement of traffic and to ensure effective control of traffic violations, proposals of ` 3.5 crore given by the Commissioner of Police were approved in-principle. Apart from this, on the demand of the principal of GSVM Medical College, the plan to construct parking here at a cost of 75 lakhs was also given in-principle consent. Apart from this, approval has been given for construction of multi-level parking near the collectorate at a cost of 50 crores to get rid of the traffic jams near the court.
